Property awards held in Manchester

For the third time in the event's history, this year saw the Property Awards hosted in Manchester.
Over 600 of the industry's firms gathered at the Sheridan Suite to celebrate the best property organisations over the last 12 months.
A total of 17 firms from the north-west triumphed during the evening.
Among them were Grosvenor, which was selected as Developer of the Year.
Meanwhile, Bank of New York Mellon was chosen as Occupier of the year, while Deal of the Year went to Argent and the Greater Manchester Property Fund.
Also in the limelight was Peel Holdings, which is involved in the MediaCityUK development.
The initiative, which also incorporates the Central Salford Urban Regeneration Company, the North West Regional Development Agency and Salford city council, was identified as the Best Design-Led Project.
MediaCityUK is part of a 20-year regeneration programme and it will occupy a 200-acre space dedicated to new media and creative industries.
