New Salford homes nearly ready

New homes on the former site of Kersal high school in Salford are nearly ready, according to reports.
Final touches, such as lead cladding around the windows and the installation of cedar benches in front of the homes, are being done by Miller Homes, according to the Salford Advertiser.
Due to be launched sometime this year, the hill-top development will have an enviable view of the Manchester skyline.
Salford city council leader John Merry recently said: "These proposals will play an important part in the changing face of Salford.
"I am delighted to see further progress on another project which demonstrates that Salford is going through colossal change for the better."
The first phase of the development comprises 130 properties - including large family homes - and a further 900 homes will be built by the end of the entire building project.
