Incentives announced for Monton new-builds
31/07/2007
Homeseekers and Manchester property investors in the Eccles area of the city-region are being urged by a housing developer to consider one of its purchasing incentives.
The new Brookes Park development in Monton, which came to market in June, includes a choice of one and two-bedroom apartments and four bedroom family homes.
Buyers are being invited by Miller Homes to sign up to either a five per cent deposit paid deal or a 105 per cent part exchange on selected plots.
"Eccles has recently benefited from a regeneration programme carried out by Salford City Council and is fast becoming a property hot spot," a spokesperson said.
"The leafy suburb of Monton is now a thriving area and offers local shopping, restaurants and thanks to the M602 and M62, is an ideal location for commuting to Manchester."
The development was launched days before Chester Developments submitted plans to Salford City Council to build environmentally-friendly houses on Canal Bank in Monton.
Featuring wind turbines and rainwater harvesting facilities, the houses will be built on the site of the former Mitchell Shackleton factory, which closed six years ago.
