Development projects recognised at Manchester property awards

An architecture firm and housing group achieved success during a recent awards ceremony focusing on Manchester properties.
Great Places Housing Group and Triangle Architects came top in two categories at the recent Manchester Society of Architects Awards, 24dash reports.
The organisations were commended for their creations at Church Drive and The Ridge in the Best Small Residential and Conservation and Re-use categories.
Commenting on its success, Matthew Harrison, deputy chief executive and director of development at Great Places, said the organisation was "delighted".
Meanwhile, Ian McHugh, associate director at Triangle Architects, added: "We have undertaken many of our best projects with Great Places and having a shared vision has helped these schemes to achieve both public popularity and critical acclaim."
Great Places is a group of housing associations which together provide more than 14,000 homes in 30 council areas in the north-west of England. The organisation was established in 2006.
