"Chic" new homes to be built near Manchester

A range of "exceptional new homes" is to be built in Warrington, which is half an hour's drive from central Manchester.
Miller Homes has said that its Urban Space range, located off Marsh House Lane, will offer the combination of chic design and convenience.
The 181-home development, which will contain two-bedroom apartments and multi-bedroom homes, is aimed at both first-time buyers and growing families.
Sue Warwick, sales and marketing director, said: "The local market has shown very strong, sustained price increases in the last five years.
"Whereas nationally house prices have increased by 59 per cent, in this postcode in central Warrington they have more than doubled."
According to the latest figures from the Land Registry, house prices in the north-west have risen by 9.1 per cent, which is one of the highest rates of growth in the country.
