More Manchester properties to be auctioned
08/06/2009
A US-based property auction specialist has revealed it is to return to Manchester to auction more properties.
Earlier this year, REDC sold flats and houses in the north-west town using the technique.
The firm is heading back to the UK at the end of June to conduct two more auctions of repossessed homes in Manchester and then London.
According to Crains Manchester Business, a total of around 225 such properties will be on offer online and at two events.
The Manchester auction is set to take place on Saturday June 27th at the Exchange Hall, which is one of the venues located in the Manchester Central convention complex in the city centre.
Meanwhile, the London event will occur the following day.
Established in 1990, REDC is an international real estate auction firm.
It claims to have sold around 32,800 properties last year alone, which broke the record it set in 2007.
