Manchester team transacts £23m of property investments

A Manchester-based team of a real estate services firm has revealed that it transacted £23 million of commercial property investments in the north-west over the course of the last six weeks.
According to Jones Lang LaSalle, the transactions were across all types of commercial property sectors, Crain's Manchester Business reports.
In addition, the team said that a further £25 million of investments is currently being dealt with.
Commenting on the figures, Jonathan Mills, head of the firm's national investment team in Manchester, said: "This period of increased activity is more than we have seen in the last six months and shows the depth of buyers seeking prime stock is increasing."
He added that signs that optimism is returning to the commercial property sector is being echoed in the north-west by increasing demand from domestic and overseas buyers.
