An event is set to take place next week intended for people seeking to get on to the property ladder in Manchester.
Organised by the Home and Communities Agency, the meeting will be held on Monday June 22nd and it is free to those who wish to attend.
There will be showcases of new houses in the Greater Manchester area which are ready for buyers to move into.
In addition, representatives from a number of financial service providers will be on hand to provide additional information.
Among the firms which are to send personnel for this purpose are the Royal Bank of Scotland, Halifax, Nationwide and Woolwich.
The initiative has been called the Key Event and it will be held at the Urbis in Manchester. It will run from 12:00 GMT until 19:00 GMT.
A non-departmental public body, the Homes and Communities Agency is the housing and regeneration agency for England.
Sponsored by the Department of Communities and Local Government, it has an annual investment budget of more than £5 billion.
